Three held with gun, cartridge in Birgunj 

A team of the Armed Police Force (APF), Nepal on Thursday nabbed three persons for possessing a gun and its cartridge. Superintendent of AFP, Nepal Tej Prasad Pokharel said the three were held along with a long-range gun and its cartridge from Nahar Chowk area of Bindabasini Rural Municipality-3 in Parsa.   

Birendranagar declared a fully COVID-19 immunised city  

Birendranagar Municipality in Surkhet district has been declared a fully COVID-19 immunized district, the first in the Karnali Province. Such an announcement was made after the municipality surpassed its target on COVID-19 vaccines.
