The Bagmati provincial government has decided to appoint Bimal Pokharel of Dolakha as the Director of the Provincial Good Governance Centre.

Three arrested with brown sugar   

Police have arrested three people in possession of brown sugar. Acting on a tip-off, the District Police Office, Kanchanpur arrested on Tuesday two persons from Bedkot municipality-9 and one from Bhim Dutta municipality-18 along with the banned narcotics.

Election is main priority of government: Tourism Minister Dhakal

Minister Dhakal said this in a programme of discussions with representatives of Nepal Civil Servants Organisation under the Ministry here today. He said the government was working with full commitment to holding the elections on April 30 and May 10.

Ministry calling tender for construction of three tunnels

During the monitoring of the 104-year-old 200-meter tunnel route located at Churiyamai temple premises along Hetauda-Birgunj road section, Minister Phunyal shared that budget has been allocated for the construction of tunnel routes—Budhanilkantha-Gokarneshwor of Kathmandu to-Batuwatal, Bhimphedi of Makawanpur-Kulekhani Posta Bahadur Bogate.
