Fourteen arrested for rhino poaching

CNP paraded the arrested persons before the media by organising a news conference here today. Four rhinos were killed by poachers since mid-July 2020 till mid-January 2021. The CNP administration, the Batukdal Battalion of Nepali Army assigned for park security and the Nepal Police, Central Investigation Bureau arrested the poachers and those trafficking in rhino horn from different places of the country, CNP's chief conservation officer Ananath Baral said.

Transport fare for rail service proposed

Nepal Railway Company Limited has sent a proposal in this regard to the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport as preparation is underway to operate the railway service on Kurtha-Jayanagar sector.
