Woman rescued

A woman has been rescued from Nepal-India bordering area, Dokebazaar, this morning when she was being taken to India, reportedly for trafficking purpose. 

Over 2300 online media registered  

According to the Department of Information and Broadcasts, 478 new online media were registered in the country in the fiscal year 2077/78. In the fiscal year 2075/76, a total of 550 online media were registered and 17 were re-registered. Likewise, 272 got renewed.   

Two-year rhino found dead; death tally reaches 25

A two-year-old endangered female rhino was found dead. Chitwan National Park's information officer Lokendra Adhikari said the female rhino was found dead inside the Gundrahi Dhakaha buffer zone community forest users' group at Amaltari in Kawaswoti municipality. 

COP-26 delegation calls on PM

Youths bound to foreign countries for employment amidst COVID pandemic   

As many as 1,373 youths have obtained passports in Surkhet since the beginning of the pandemic. Among them 492 youths received the passport through fast track, according to the data of the Surkhet District Administration Office (DAO).

Deer killed in road accident  

A deer has died after a truck knocked it down at Ratnanagar on the East-West highway. The accident happened in front of Sinchaigot, Ratnanagar Municipality-9 at 4.35 am today, and the District police Office said.    

  Fair weather forecast throughout the country from Thursday   

The weather will gradually start improving from Thursday. Most parts of the country saw partly to generally cloudy conditions with some places of the high-hilly and mountainous regions experiencing light snowfall due to the influence of the westerly wind since the past some days.
