NC 14th General Convention: Vote count for general-secretaries starts 

Counting of votes for the Nepali Congress two general secretary posts under the 14th General Convention has begun.     NC Central Election Committee member Sitaram KC said that the counting of votes has started at the party headquarters from 10:20 am. Result is expected to come within six hours. 

Fire burn leaves three dead in Sarlahi

The fire that broke out from straw-made hut after short circuit at 9.15 pm took the lives of eight-year-old Laxmi Mahara and three-year-old Sugandhi Mahara. Both are the daughters of Jogi Mahara, a local of Kawilasi municipality-7, Sirsiraya in Sarlahi.

Khadka and Gurung elected Vice Presidents of NC  

Khadka secured 2,121 votes and Gurung received 1,908 votes to emerge victorious to the post, NC central election committee informed, NC statute has arranged two vice-presidents in the central working committee.     Khadka is the general secretary and Gurung is the central members in the incumbent working committee.

Association President Trilochan Kandel said the expo will feature 200 stalls including 50 from India. The expo aims to promote the industrial sector down by COVID-19. It is estimated to cost Rs 25 million to conclude the event.
