Prime Minister Oli held bilateral talks with Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina at the bilateral room in the premises of the Baku Congress Centre. 

Foundation stone laid for Motihari-Chitwan gas pipeline

Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supply, Matrika Yadav, formally began the extension by the placing a pillar mark at Amalekhgunj today. Nepal Oil Corporation has informed that the pipeline will be expanded to 62 km from Amlekhgunj to Lothar of Chitwan.

Fire destroys property worth over Rs 10 million  

Property worth over Rs 10 million gutted in a fire that engulfed half a dozen shops nearby BP Chowk in Nepalgunj last night.          Superintendent of Police (SP) of Banke Bir Bahadur Wali informed that the fire engulfed Janata Sirak, Himalaya Furniture, Roshani Furniture, Book shop and fruit shop.   

By-election code of conduct effective from today   

The Election Commission (EC) has issued election code of conduct in view of by-election scheduled to take place from coming 30 November.      The code of conduct would be in effect from October 25 (Friday) until the completion of by-election, stated a press release issued by the Election Commission on Thursday.
